How We Use Information
We may use information to provide and secure the site and purchased services, perform requested analysis, communicate about an order or inquiry, moderate comments, deliver requested updates, measure content performance, prevent abuse, process and document transactions, comply with legal obligations, and improve editorial and technical operations.
Cookies
WordPress and service providers may use essential, preference, analytics, or third-party cookies. Details and browser-control options are explained in our Cookie Policy.
Comments and Public Submissions
If commenting or other public-submission features are enabled, information you post may be publicly visible. Technical data may be processed for spam detection and site security. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information for public display.
Embedded Content and External Links
Articles may link to or embed content from other websites. Those providers may collect data, use cookies, or track interactions under their own policies. Freight Intel Report does not control third-party privacy practices.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Information may be processed by hosting, security, payment, analytics, email, content-delivery, spam-prevention, and other vendors that support the site or a requested service. Providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their functions and are expected to handle it under applicable contractual and legal requirements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the publication. We do not sell personal information for money.
Confidential Materials and AI Processing
FIR will not submit confidential client documents to an artificial-intelligence service unless the customer first gives explicit written authorization after FIR identifies the provider that would process the materials. Authorization may be withheld or withdrawn before the authorized processing occurs without changing this general rule. Any separately agreed confidentiality terms also apply.
Retention and Security
Client source documents are deleted within 90 days after delivery of the purchased service unless a longer period is legally required or the customer requests earlier deletion. Payment, tax, transaction, and related business records are retained for the periods required by applicable law and legitimate accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs. Other information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices and Rights
You may manage cookies through browser settings, unsubscribe from requested communications using the instructions provided, and request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Certain information may be retained for legal, administrative, fraud-prevention, or security reasons. Privacy rights vary by location.
Children
This business publication is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
